The fujara is a towering Slovak overtone flute, traditionally played by shepherds. With just three finger holes and a long resonant bore, it produces deep, haunting tones by riding the overtone series. The fujara sings with the voice of the mountains. A flute so tall it reaches the sky, carrying shepherd songs into a timeless, meditative soundscape. This instrument only has 3 holes but plays a full chromatic scale , this Fujara in C is the shortest and highest key that we make. It will be lighter weight option, with a closer finger spread, and much more manageable for smaller people.. this is a great choice for women or smaller handed people . Just listen to its awesome tone!
