Refund policy

 *Please note that we do not offer refunds on Made to Order flutes (only In Stock flutes). We can however, exchange a "Made to Order" flute for an item of equal or lesser value. We do not give in store credit if you choose an item that is of lesser value than your original purchase.

Note that it can take 8-12 months OR MORE to complete Made to Order flutes. We cannot guarantee that your will have your flute by a particular date. We will make flutes in the order in which the order was received. Placing an order for a "Made to Order" flutes signifies that you are willing to wait however long it takes for us to build your flute. (Rest assured, we will always to our best to complete your flute order as quickly as possible)

We have a 30-day return policy for flutes, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. This applies to both "in stock" and "made to order" flutes.

Changes made after your purchase

You may change your "made to order" flute order details/specs within the first 10 days of ordering your flute. After the 10 day period If you decide you want to make a change to your order, you will be charged $50 for that service. 

 

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Send us an email at miguel@singingtreeflutes.com. Do NOT try to fix your flute yourself! Simply let us know so we can easily repair, exhange or replace it. 

If your flute is damaged in shipping, you MUST provide us with photos of the damage, as well as the shipping box and materials that your flute was shipped in. This is required in order for us to utilize the shipping insurance that we purchase for each shipment. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Custom orders & "Made to Order" flutes are not returnable except in the case of the flute arriving to you damaged, in which we will either repair or replace your flute. If there is damage to your custom order email miguel@singingtreeflutes.com with pictures within 10 days of receiving your flute. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your "in stock" flute after receipt, you can return it to us and you can exchange it for a flute of equal or lesser value. If you select a higher-cost item to exchange, we will send you an outstanding balance invoice before the item can be purchased. We will send you the new item once we have received your item you are exchanging. Some custom order flutes are not exchangeable unless they are physically damaged or faulty. 


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. *Please note that we do not give refunds with "Made to Order" flutes, only In Stock flutes can qualify for refund. We can exchange your "Made to Order" flute for an item of equal or lesser value. We do not give in store credit if you choose an item that is of lesser value. 

We do not offer refunds on custom or "Made to Order" flutes due to the length of the wait. 

Your "Made to Order" flute payment cannot be put towards any other flutes, whether they are the same or similar to the one you have on order, or different altogether, that shows up "In Stock" on our website while you wait for your flute. We will continue to make "In Stock" flutes while working on our "Made to Order" list. Our "made to order" list always receives priority over in stock flutes. 

Please note: If you have purchased using an affiliate code, any refund you receive will be reduced by 10% of the sale price, as that amount will have already been paid to the affiliate.
