This is a MASSIVE Elder Wood two piece fujarain the Key of Low D. This thing is Huge! The largest and lowest of all the Fujaras! A whopping 8 Ft tall! It comes with a padded case and accessories. These are our highest Tier of Fujaras, and a very professionally built. Each Tree branch is meticulously chosen to have the perfect bend to make each instrument. The tone is EXCELLENT! This particular fujara has the deepest, and richest tone that we offer in fujaras due to its large size.
This is the largest instrument we offer here at Singing Tree Flutes. We recommend this instrument for people who are confident in their ability to hold and balance its heavy weight while playing, and stretch their hands to reach the finger holes. Miguel has demonstrated in the video above different methods to reach the finger holes as a person with smaller hands.
The fujara is a towering Slovak overtone flute, traditionally played by shepherds. With just three finger holes and a long resonant bore, it produces deep, haunting tones by riding the overtone series. The fujara sings with the voice of the mountains. A flute so tall it reaches the sky, carrying shepherd songs into a timeless, meditative soundscape. This instrument only has 3 holes but plays a full chromatic scale , this Fujara in G has a warm and soulful sound! Its unique voice has been featured in soundtracks such as The Whale (2022), Eleanor’s Secret (2009), and noted by fans in Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).
This Fujara is made from a master craftsman in Czech Republic, and made from a branch of an Elder Tree, a traditional wood used for these instruments! they have a clean and finished look, very professionally made.
