Here is a fabulous design by Singing Tree Flutes! A Native American style Drone flute, in Arabian scale with a total of 8 playing holes. Still considered an alternating drone, the melody side of the flute still plays the standard Arabian Hijaz scale, but the drone side plays a total of 5 notes with one fingering hole on top and another thumb hole on the bottom. The drone can now play the notes G C,D Eb and High G (over blow), that can be changed to drone through the whole melody. This flute uses all 5 fingers on the left hand, but is quite comfortable and easy to manage! It is made of figured Claro walnut wood with madrone land claw sound blocks, in the key of G 432 Hz… The sound is out of this world! super haunting!
