These fun little instruments are made by the creators of our duduks at Vamelo in Armenia. They have a higher and louder sound because of their smaller size and the unique cow horn design, built on the end.
The pku is is a traditional Armenian woodwind instrument. This single-reed aerophone features a cylindrical apricot wood pipe and a flared natural cow-horn bell. Known for its warm and expressive sound, it is commonly played in Armenian folk music and rural traditions
The scale is the same as the duduk, playing both major and minor scales on one instrument. Hear these in action here:
