Here is a fabulous new design by Singing Tree Flutes! A Native American style Drone flute, in Arabian scale with a total of 8 playing holes. Still considered an alternating drone, the melody side of the flute still plays the standard Arabian (hijaz) melody, with 1.5 octave range, but the drone side plays a total of 5 notes... (G) C, D E flat and High G (Overblow), that can be changed to drone through the whole melody. This flute uses all 5 fingers on the left hand, but is quite comfortable and easy to manage! It is made of limba wood, in the key of G. The sound is out of this world! super haunting! Refer to the video for a sound sample.
