This is our first time offering a cherry wood fujara, and we are not sure how often we will get the opportunity to sell them in cherry, so get it while you can!
The fujara is a towering Slovak overtone flute, traditionally played by shepherds. With just three finger holes and a long resonant bore, it produces deep, haunting tones by riding the overtone series. The fujara sings with the voice of the mountains. A flute so tall it reaches the sky, carrying shepherd songs into a timeless, meditative soundscape. This instrument only has 3 holes but plays a full chromatic scale , this Fujara in G has a warm and soulful sound! Its unique voice has been featured in soundtracks such as The Whale (2022), Eleanor’s Secret (2009), and noted by fans in Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).
The beautiful low tones of this instrument feel haunting and ancestral. This is one of the largest instruments we offer here at singing tree flutes, with one of the deepest tones.
This Fujara s made from a master craftsman in Czech Republic, and made from a branch of a cherry tree. It has a clean and finished look and a beautiful, warm, and natural color.
