The Aeolian minor scale has the typical five note pentatonic minor scale that gives the Native flute sound, but it contains the second and sixth scale degrees also, giving the flute a bit more medieval, and eastern European haunting sound. A western Cedar, 6 hole flute with a simple design, and an excellent tone! Most of the keys are an ideal size flute for a beginner. The sound is excellent, a super clear and vibrant tone. This one has an Extended High Octave Range as well!
Flute Specs: Length 23", Length from Mouthpiece to bottom hole 18 3/4", Bore 7/8", Maximum finger spread 1 3/8" between holes 1 & 2 and 2 & 3 (measured from the center of one hole to the center of the next).
