Great News! SingingTree is now offering a new and FABULOUS line of handpans, that we are calling "Singing Steel" handpans. We are working with a skilled hand pan company that is developing high quality hand pans specific to our liking (Key, Scale, Color, size), and are stamped with our MM logo on the bottom of the pan, our personal "seal of approval"! We now have more options than we have ever had as well as a more affordable price! Each one will have a gorgeous lathe turned shell, with a beautiful finished look(minor blemishes may show) and one of a variety of color options.
This Stainless steel hand pan in the "spiral' color option will be our default color. if you'd like to request a different color, please reach out to us after ordering. Other options will be Violet, Vintage Gold, Bronze, Brown, Silver, Bluish Brown, and Brown Stripes.
( A good way to hear what they would sound like is to search the name of the scale(IE: Dkurd 12+5) to see if you can find a video with those exact notes. Keep In mind that 9+2 means 9 notes on top and 2 notes on bottom andso on. Also when reading the notes in the scale, the first note is the Ding or Center note. Anything in (parentheses) are the notes on the underside of the pan.

KURD(is one of the most popular scales, and one of the "Original" Hang Drum scales. It is similar to a Celtic minor or "Amara" scale, but it has a 1/2 step note which gives the scale a darker, more haunting sound. It is a classic scale, in that you can play the notes in most any order or configuration(aside from the B flat note), including "Chords" or multiple notes at once and most anything will sound good. This makes this a good choice for the novice player, as well as a more advanced player!

This item is Made to Order. This means that once you order, we create a flute in the same key, wood, style and accents. It is NOT the exact flute you see in the images, but we do our best to keep it as similar as possible. Please allow 30 -60 days for our beginner and no-frills flutes. Sometimes we are able to complete orders sooner, but please allow 60-180 days to complete more complex Made to Order items. Time needed to complete your flute varies by order volume, wood availability and complexity of your flute.
