The "Fukara" is an awesome creation by a highly skilled flute crafter in Czech Republic. Based off of the traditional towering Slovak overtone flute, the fujara, this instrument has the same deep, and rich sound when riding the overtones, but as opposed to the chromatic scale, it has a more mid eastern flavor. I really love the energy of this instrument!We have sold many in the key Of G, but now have these in the key of A and C wich are smaller, lighter weight, and easier to manage for smaller people that might need lighter weight and a closer finger spread.. Specs below, and video to demonstrate .The C demonstrated here, is the smallest of the wooden fukaras we carry, meaning the most light weight, and the closest finger spread, as well as the lowest cost! iIt hosts a beautiful tone, still beautifully haunting, quite manageable for anyone wanting to expore this instrument!
These Fukara flutes are made from a branch of an Elder Tree, a traditional wood used for fujara flutes!
