Here we have a new made to order alternating drone flute! These flutes have a cherry body, purple heart accent bands, and wenge end caps and sound blocks. We wanted to offer a drone flute that is simple, yet eye catching with the purple heart band with a shorter wait time than most of our other made to order drone flutes. This one also has an option for left hand on bottom players.
Drone flutes allow for a more creative and layered expression than a single flute. These beautiful flutes are the perfect size, allowing for a medium pitch with a playable finger stretch for most players.
Both have a beautiful and bright tone with a rich drone resonance that is sure to fill any room. The 440 scale is the classic standard for the Native American Style flute, and will play beautifully with other instruments. The 432 scale is just slightly lower, and warmer. The 432 scale is thought of as a "natural" tuning, used for healing, yoga, and meditation. Both tunings are beautiful and unique in their own way.

This item is Made to Order. This means that once you order, we create a flute in the same key, wood, style and accents. It is NOT the exact flute you see in the images, but we do our best to keep it as similar as possible. Please allow 30 -60 days for our beginner and no-frills flutes. Sometimes we are able to complete orders sooner, but please allow 60-180 days to complete more complex Made to Order items. Time needed to complete your flute varies by order volume, wood availability and complexity of your flute.
