This is a cherry alternating drone flute, in the key of A minor. The end caps and abstract claw blocks are of walnut, which has some subtle figure in the grain. The added pinky hole to change the note on the drone barrel (made for left hand on top only), adds so much diversity to the flute, it can make a standard drone seem ordinary. Cherry wood produces an excellent tone and creates some fun, energetic, as well as meditative melodies! This particular flute has some turquoise inlay on the flute body, that gives some color and character to the piece!
