This flute is part of our Beginner Student flute series and is tuned but in the Arabian scale. This is an opportunity to get a unique tuning with professional sound quality at a low cost. The Arabian or Hijaz scale plays beautiful middle eastern melodies, a super fun scale that gives the "snake charmer" feel. A western Cedar, 6 hole flute with a simple design, and an excellent tone! These flutes are an ideal size flute for a beginner. The sound is excellent with a super clear and vibrant tone. 

Currently we have a video sound sample of a High D arabian flute, but you can order your new beginner flute in High C, High D, E, F# & A!

 SPECS: Concert tuned to D Arabian (Hijaz), 440 hrtz - Aprox. Length is 14 1/4", with a 3/4" Bore--- Maximum finger spacing is 1 1/4"( Holes 2 and 3, center to center of holes,)--- Distance From Mouth Piece to First Hole = 11 3/4"

This item is Made to Order. This means that once you order, we create a flute in the same key, wood, style and accents. It is NOT the exact flute you see in the images, but we do our best to keep it as similar as possible. Please allow 30 -60 days for our beginner and no-frills flutes. Sometimes we are able to complete orders sooner, but please allow 60-180 days to complete more complex Made to Order items. Time needed to complete your flute varies by order volume, wood availability and complexity of your flute.
