This flute has a total of 8 playing holes. Still considered an alternating drone, the melody side of the flute still plays the standard aeolian scale, with 1.5 octave range, but the drone side plays the 1,4,5,6 and 8 scale degrees, a total of 5 notes ... For example the E plays (E) A, B C and High E (Overblow), that can be changed to drone through the whole melody. This flute design uses all 5 fingers on the left hand, but is quite comfortable and easy to manage! The higher keys will be easier.. These are the only o these we'll have through the holidays!
