This is rare beauty to behold! A very unique contrabass drone flute in C NAF minor, with contrabass G Drone. The flute body is aromatic cedar, with end caps and abstract claw totems of pacific yew. These flutes are very special because they are end-blown, and have a manageable finger spread for most experienced players, but still have the contrabass tone droning while the bass melody is being played. The drone side G, being a 4th step below the fundamental note, C,  is what creates this unique tone. The video link will give you an example of this in C/G, but this can be made in B/F# as well, and be tuned in 440 Hz or 432Hz tuning if desired. We are offering this in Aeolian tuning as well.

Below is a video demonstrating the Aeolian version(but we will use the Cedar and Yew for the woods)

SPECS: Concert tuned to a Low C NAF minor with Contra G Drone, 440 hrtz --- Approximate Length is 40", with a 1 1/4" Bore--- Maximum finger spacing is 1 5/8"(holes 2 and 3 from center to center.. bottom hand)--- Distance From Mouth Piece to First Hole = 21"

This item is Made to Order. This means that once you order, we create a flute in the same key, wood, style and accents. It is NOT the exact flute you see in the images, but we do our best to keep it as similar as possible. Please allow 30 -60 days for our beginner and no-frills flutes. Sometimes we are able to complete orders sooner, but please allow 60-180 days to complete more complex Made to Order items. Time needed to complete your flute varies by order volume, wood availability and complexity of your flute.

Thank you!
