Here's a rare beauty to behold! A very unique contrabass drone flute in C Arabian, with contrabass G Drone. The flute body is Black Limba, with End Caps and abstract claw totems of walnut. These flutes are very special because they are end-blown, and have a manageable finger spread for most experienced players, but still, have the contrabass tone droning while the bass melody is being played.
Although in the photos this flute has all 6 holes on the front side of the flute (it was custom ordered that way) it is best to make this style flute with a thumb hole instead of the first 3 fingers on the front side of the flute. This means that from the bottom of the flute, the first three holes will be the ring finger, pointer finger, and thumb on the back (same fingering as a chaku hatchi). This is the best way to manage the finger spread on this scale flute, and to have accurate tuning. The drone side G, being a 4th step below the fundamental note, C,  is what creates this amazing haunting sound. The video link will give you an example of this in G Arabian with G drone, but this can be made in B/F# as well, and be tuned in 440 Hz or 432Hz tuning if desired. Check out the youtube video demonstrating its amazing sound!
