This is a Native American style E flat major flute with 2 full octaves ( think Do, Re, Mi)! It is made of Black Limba, an African exotic, that has excellent tonal qualities, similar in density to alder. The end caps and low profile block are walnut, a beautiful contrast. This flute can play 2 octaves, which adds lots of diversity to this style flute. This is the tuning that most NAF players use to play Amazing Grace and other contemporary songs, as well as Irish tunes and middle eastern (bansuri) songs. Take a listen to the video to hear what it can do. It produces a super clean and vibrant sound quality. Be aware that it has large holes and a wide finger spread, not ideal for beginners.
