I wanted to let you know that I recieved the flute on Monday the 14th. It has a rich voice and is quite loud for such a large flute, and I think it will resonate beautifuly in the galleries I play at. I took it outside on wednesday, to a cliff that sits high over the Rappahannock river, and gave it voice. It sang more harmoniously with the wind than any other flute I've yet to play. It felt to me that while you took wood and crafted it into an instrument, the soul of the wood remains and becomes one with the trees around it as I play. Speaking of woods, I am very grateful that you suggested the myrtlewood because it is an awesome wood and the burl in it matches the ebony perfectly. The two woods contrast but also look natural together, as if they were from the same tree.
On my way to the river on wednesday I stopped by an elder of mine's trading post to show her my new flute, and ran into Charles L....., retired Chief of the Wampanoag people and chief of their Bear clan. They both thought it was beautiful and my elder loved the buffalo fetish. Chief L...... went to his truck to get his flute and we each played a song.

hi ,the smiles of flutes on gentle breezes to you . i had to write to tell you that all 3 of my beautiful flutes have now arrived..and each in their very own special way are charmed works of art.. each has it's unique spirit song. the wolf is for my daughter but she does not know it yet...i know it will make her heart smile too wide to measure!
the feather is for a friend with a heart born in music ..she is in remission and each day gathering more strength and i know how healing the spirit song of the flute is...i actually had first bought the feather flute for myself..but seeing it,i know it belongs to my friend...smile
i must tell you when i first saw and held the otter flute..it was a coming home. i am completely enchanted with it's texture,woods,your wonderous talent ,the wood burned otter and feather are perfectly wonderful,but the voice,it's heart sings with true wonder .Thank you more then words in a line can express.your gift of talent will touch many.smile,chris

The three I just received with the impressive bird fetishes are as optically as beautiful as they sound, and I have already received positive comments from visitors at my home. With the decorative end caps and inlaid turquoise, they are a welcome addition to the other four great flutes I have from you.

Thats it , if you can make the chimney 3/8" wide , would be perfect....I'm going to school , didn't know it was called a chimney but is real appropriate name. For what ever its worth, I'm an artist that paints on canvas Southwestern spiritual paintings,,, I think you have a real genius for the flutes and the way you do the creative bird fetishes on the flutes ... at 61 years old , its nice to find a flute you can just rest you breathe on when you play,,, I'm glad your in this old World , it makes a big difference to a lot of us,,, thank-you .....
