Support a "Greener" way of Living!

We all are aware that it's time to be more "Green" and to make choices that are going to be sustainable for our planet, as opposed to the destruction of our planet. SingingTree Flutes is always looking for ways to make our business more environmentally friendly. First off, 90% of all woods that I purchase come from stores that have a reforestation tax on their wood, so that for every exotic wood that is purchased, we pay a little extra to fund the replanting of the exotic woods back into the rain forests, or wherever they were harvested. This helps keep the forests continuing to flourish, and produce the gorgeous colorful hardwoods that we all are drawn to.

Also, you the consumer, have the option of buying flutes from SingingTree that are made from reclaimed woods,or standing dead woods harvested right here in the rockies. Any rocky mountain pine, or aspen flutes for sale, have been hand harvested by my self, or Tom Swanson of Aspen High furniture, air dried and milled for optimum stability and pure tonal quality. Using what would otherwise wind up rotting on the ground, or being turned into firewood, is a very Green way to go. Also, nearly all of the cherry, alder, and hard rock maple I use are reclaimed from cabinet shops, that otherwise would be thrown away. Reusing peoples "Garbage" is a smart and Echo friendly choice, and these woods are Grade AAA! I also currently have reclaimed fir, white cedar, and brown ash.

SingingTreeFlutes uses a biodegradable, environmentally friendly, water based poly acrylic, by general finishes, that is safe, non toxic and leaves a hard and shiny protective coat on your flute!
