Hello All! Here's another Fabulous Singing Tree Beauty, with stunning woods, and and an excellent tone. It is made of a highly figured yellow rosewood, some cal it yellow heart wood. The figure in the grain is very eratic and busy creating gorgeous layers in the grain. The end caps and wing style blocks are of a figured rosewood, a truly stunning wood combination to behold! This is a standard 7 hole alternating drone flute, witch is the same as a standard 6 hole drone, but with a pinky hole on the drone side of the flute,creating even more diversity in the harmonies you can create.( made for people who play with left hand closest to mouth) There is a natural flaw at the bottom of the back side of this flute, witch I purposely left because I didn't want to remove any of the gorgeous figure at the bottom end of the flute. The sound has an outstanding clear tone as well! These flutes make a straight drone seem ordinary and are a must for the avid collector! It will be a great start or addition to someones collection!
