Hi All, Check out this beauty,a gorgeous Hungarian style drone flute with a beautiful wood combo, as well as a unique, Celtic sound! I bet many of you didn't know that most drone flutes did not originate from this land, but back east. This flute is in the major scale tuning and is based off of a traditional Hungarian flute. This one can achieve 2 full octaves by over blowing. Some people will tell you that it's impossible to get two full octaves from the native style flutes. Very few can achieve this, so if it's something you desire, then grab this one while you can! It's made of a beautiful piece of purple heart and the mouthpiece and blocks are of ebony, a beautiful contrast. The woodburn art is beautiful addition as well. The sound is again, more of a Celtic feel, very up beat and playful, with a great range. The fingering is the same as an Irish penny whistle. Another great flute at a great price!
