Hello all! So here we are again, a new year, a new day, a chance to do things a little different. It seems like the world, is starting to open up to new ways of thinking, new ideas in the way that we function as a whole, positive, more conscious ways of thinking. This flute series is in honor of this new day, where I'll be incorporating unique designs new and old, always trying to take my flutes to a higher level in sound and artistry. Here's one of the first of this "New Day" series, split drone flute, with gorgeous woods, antler work, design and sound, giving even more diversity to your collection! This flute has a total of 6 holes, 3 on the long barrel, and 3 on the short barrel all in harmony with each other. Remember this flute is not played like a six hole single flute. It's played with all holes open. The fundamental note is F and plays to the fifth of the scale on the long side of the flute and on the short side of the flute starts at the fifth and plays to the fifth of its fifth. You'll love to take some new journeys with this one! The artistry of this one is AMAZING! Really taking it to a new level. The fetishes and cap near the mouthpiece were made from the butt of an Elk antler and intricately carved and torcherd with an eagle, sun, mountains and medicine wheel, as well as another medicine wheel and a feather engraved on the front of the fetishes. The woodburn art is exquisite as well, with an eagle,mountains, feathers, medicine wheel and sacred pipe. The body of the flute is made of cherry, with Rosewood mouth piece, and blocks under the antlers. An absolutely stunning collectors piece! This flute will take you on a soaring journey! Miguel
